The CMYFL is based in Chesaning, Michigan and serves the communities of Alma, Breckenridge, Bullock Creek, Carson City, Central Mountcalm, Corunna, Chesaning, Freeland, Hemlock, Ithica, Lakeview, Merril, Ovid-Elsie, Owosso, Saginaw Township, St.Charles, St.Louis, Swan Valley and Vestaburg. The Big City Football League is an unlimited (no weight limit) program founded in 2005 for ages 7-14. Games are played within the state of Michigan as well as out-state, non conference competition. The BCFL focuses on skill development, player performance and academic success. The BCFL is a member of USA Football and participates in post season tournaments. MYFF is quite possibly the most complete football league catalogued on this site. Based in Pontiac, it offers football year-round; complete spring, summer, fall and winter football seasons. It also has cheerleading. In addition, the league claims to be the largest NFL youth flag football league in the state. Children in grades K through 8 are invited to play. Some participating communities include Clarkston, Farmington, Fraser, Howell, Huron Valley, Lake Orion, Livonia, Macomb, Milford, Northville, Plymouth-Canton, Romeo, Shelby Township, Southgate, Trenton/Riverview/Woodhaven, Utica/Sterling Heights, Walled Lake, Warren, Waterford, Wayne-Westland and West Bloomfield. The MYFCC was founded in 2010 and offers football and cheerleading opportunities to boys and girls in southeastern Michigan. Participating teams come from the towns of Birmingham, Brighton, Clinton Township, Farmington, Lakes, Macomb, Pontiac, Rochester and West Bloomfield.
Based in Grand Rapids, the NRFL hosts 34 teams from the counties of Kent, Ottawa, Montcalm, Mecosta, Osceola, Isabella and Ionia. It is a coed league offering both tackle and flag football for kids ages 8 to 14 years old. Weight restrictions do apply. Contact the league via their web site.
